Is there somebody watching out for you?
Because i don't really have that much to do.
I no longer remember, a girl i could not forget
Once she filled me with wonder,
Now i'm not filled with anything -except with regrets cause i am young!
I know what i want, do you know what you need - yet?
That's what i'm standing here for.
You're in every thought, and the air that i breathe,
You don't have to be lonely anymore.
Please don't be alarmed by what you see,
I'm just a shadow of someone i could be,
They say hope springs eternal, that's just too long to wait
Your love could be the answer, i want more than anything
Before its too late while i'm still young!
I know what i want, do you know what you need - yet?
That's what i'm standing here for.
You're in every thought, and the air that i breathe
And i don't want to be lonely anymore.
If you don't play the game of love, you can never win,
If you say that you'll stand beside me,
Take my hand, cause love could set us free! - if you listen to me.
And when you need a shoulder, i'll be there.
For anything anytime, anywhere.
We wont miss being part of a world that keeps growing cold.
You and i could be happy, capable of anything,
And as we get old, - we'll still be young!
And that's what i want, are you what i need - yeah!
That's what i'm still hoping for consumed by the thought, and the air that i breathe.
Cause i don't want to believe that love is war.
I know what i want, do you know what you need - yet?
Because i've been here before.
You're in every thought, and the air that i breathe.
We don't have to be lonely anymore.
